What a great place!! We were visiting for a few days and our plane arrived after 7 so by the time we were settled in our hotel and looking for a place to eat most places were closed except for what looked like party bar places. We wanted good food not bar food. So just when we thought we’d be relegated to fast food (yuk) we found Third Corner!! What a gem!! A good selection of wines. Great mixed drinks and well made food that tantalizes all of your senses. 3 days later and no other restaurants that we tried comparing we went back and they did not disappoint!! The tempura tuna tartare is spectacular! Third Corner is one of the reasons we will return to San Diego!

What a great Happy Hour menu (3-6)! We showed up just in time to order a couple drinks ($7 Tito’s dirty martinis with bomb blue cheese hand-stuffed olives) and a couple food items from the special menu before 6pm. I have to say the meat and cheese board and the spicy penne pasta were outstanding. We then grabbed an amazing Ojai Syrah from their wine retail prednisone area and our server, Michael, opened it right up for us. That wine was as smooth as Kenny G on the sax.
We then ordered the seafood risotto and the short ribs. The short ribs were another huge WIN. The shrimp and scallops in the risotto were prednisone cooked to perfection. We ended the night splitting the creme brûlée and I had a chocolate martini. Both were fantastic. It might have been the previous beverages talking, but I’d like to call that one of the best chocolate martinis I’ve ever had the pleasure of imbibing.
Overall, I’m looking forward to going back prednisone to 3rd Corner for more happy hours and I can’t wait to check out their bottomless mimosas and brunch dishes one weekend!
